B-Side has, in my opinion, some of the best pastries in Richmond. Super flakey croissants but maintaining a delicious chew. Even the flavored croissants have a special glaze on top that has a pleasantly slight crunch to it. Their chocolate chip cookies are also amazing. The owner and I had a conversation about how his business started and he was very knowledgeable about his craft. 11/10 would recommend.
So many delicious treats, including croissants, pain au chocolat, palmier-style cinnamon rolls, monkey bread, cookies, etc. No gluten free options at the moment, but they said they are working on it. There is drip coffee available. Great prices and friendly service. The store is also super cute! There is a window bench with 3 cushions but otherwise no inside seating. Definitely dangerous to be so close to this place.
I’m not really into sweets, and I came here on my friend’s recommendation, but I can say I’ll definitely come back. The quality and freshness of the croissant and apple pie danish really impressed me, and the owner was very friendly too.

Awesome new location for a long time bakery at local farmer's markets. It took a couple attempts to get there before they sold out so make sure to get there early. This morning we got some Nutella croissants that were absolutely divine, super soft, flaky, and with generous filling of Nutella. I can't wait to go back and try more of their baked goods.
The best focaccia and croissant I’ve ever had in my entire life. $7 for the entire loaf of focaccia. Light crispy buttery external attitude with a doughy fluffy inside laced with olive oil and topped with a smoky shaved salt and rosemary-killer. Do not sit on this decadent treat. First-timer and I am instantly sold!

Their pastries are freshly baked, beautifully presented, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The croissants were perfectly flaky, the cakes moist and flavorful, and their cookies is some of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put love into every item. Whether you're grabbing a quick treat or ordering for a special occasion, this place never disappoints. Highly recommended!
Everything was so delicious, I only got a picture of the focaccia before we devoured it. But their cinnasant is amazing, their Pride croissant was spectacular. I've not had anything bad from them. I just wish I lived closer!

My daughter and I visited because we love trying out bakeries we never been to. I really like the flakiness of the croissant. Not overly sweet. Just right. Not overpriced. They have normal coffee and tea available. I also bought a rosemary loaf and after lightly toasting it I used it as a dipping bread for my seasoned olive oil. Staff super friendly and it was easy chatting with them . It was like talking to a person you already knew.
